CAVILAM – Alliance Française is delighted to announce the third edition of “Tant de choses à nous lire”, its Francophone Literary Encounters. Taking place throughout July 2026, this event will bring together renowned French-speaking authors to celebrate the richness and diversity of contemporary Francophone literature.
CAVILAM – Alliance Française: Promoting Francophone Culture
CAVILAM – Alliance Française plays a key role in fostering the French language and Francophone culture in France and around the world. Each year, the institution welcomes and trains nearly 4,000 international students and teachers of French while developing a wide range of projects dedicated to Francophone literature and photography.

“Tant de choses à nous lire”, the CAVILAM – Alliance Française Francophone Literary Encounters, together with the CAVILAM – Alliance Française Francophone Photography Residency, reflect the institution's commitment to promoting Francophone culture. Through these initiatives, CAVILAM – Alliance Française encourages dialogue, cultural exchange, and meaningful encounters while promoting the values of openness and tolerance. In doing so, it contributes to extending the influence of the Francophone world far beyond national borders.
