FLE teaching certificate
CAVILAM – Alliance Française's FLE certificate programme is a holistic introduction to getting started in FLE education. Blending independent study and classroom learning, this programme helps learners acquire the key concepts of pedagogy, from class management and curriculum design, evaluation, and remediation, with strong emphasis on competence.
In person, on campus
Begins Monday; three-week duration
The training combines asynchronous pre-course work with a three-week in-person program, blending theoretical input, practical activities, classroom observation, independent work, and tutoring
Asynchronous, prior to the training: ≈ 10–12 hours of self-study. This preparatory work is mandatory.
In-person: 60 hours of classes, networking and collaborative exchanges
Group classes
Anyone seeking the benefits of an introduction to teaching French as a foreign language
French level B2 required with DELF, TCF, TEF or similar
French baccalauréat or equivalent Acceptance of application (CV and cover letter required)
